Jubilation Wins Best of Show at Meadowood Art Show

This was the first "real" painting I did this year....meaning it rolled around in my head for awhile before I began working on it. Plus, it was larger than the tiny pieces that I was doing before I could gather up the courage to face a larger piece of paper.

 2013 was a challenging year what with a concussion and other health issues, so this award meant much more than simply a wonderful prize. By the way, my friends Cathy Grygiel and Joanne Turner also won top honors in this show.
