- Painting and drawing was a major part of my life as a child but dissapeared during my teens and through my life as an adult working fulltime in the corporate world. The awakening came one day at the office when I realized that I had to return to art, quit and took a partime job. I began classes at a local art league and painting at home. Another awakening arrived when I had my first intimate encounter with a dairy cow. Then there was the interview with Temple Grandin...no more eating these beautiful creatures or anything with a mother. My goal is to depict these non-human animals as the sentient, beautiful beings that they are. That's it.
You Handle color sooo well! I actually feel the light off the computer screen. Great expressive marks. Everything is Perfect! But (Forgive me) but have you tried marking across the form of the Legs (hatch light blue highlights horizontally).. the back left leg is holding my eye too long. The reason why I had to say this...is that my Art friends were nice enough to remind me too and I appreciated it.
