Juno is a Hereford calf that I met in Bucks County this past summer. I stopped to see the cows on a hunch that they might be around ...turned out to be a magical couple of hours of amazing light and beautiful poses by the calves.
Wow! Love your sensitivity with color! Found you by your comments to a post on my blog and glad you did! I eliminated my Word Verification as per your suggestion only to find your blog has it too! :/ Oh well. Still glad to comment.
Hi Brenda, I hope you got my apology on your blog. If you didn't, I said that there was mis-speaking on my part and didn't think you should delete the Word Verification since it minimizes spammers. For some reason, I had a devil of a time entering the correct letters and numbers for the verification.
Painting and drawing was a major part of my life as a child but dissapeared during my teens and through my life as an adult working fulltime in the corporate world. The awakening came one day at the office when I realized that I had to return to art, quit and took a partime job. I began classes at a local art league and painting at home.
Another awakening arrived when I had my first intimate encounter with a dairy cow. Then there was the interview with Temple Grandin...no more eating these beautiful creatures or anything with a mother. My goal is to depict these non-human animals as the sentient, beautiful beings that they are. That's it.
