30 in 30 Day 5

Another landscape painting. There is preserved farmland  not too far from my home and this is one place in Lower Salford Township, PA. Jim McFarlane took a group of us out to this location years ago. I am so grateful to him for his generosity as a teacher and friend all these years.

    1. I don't know that it's more beautiful but it's my attempt to paint the way it felt to me. Thanks for commenting

    1. Thank you so much, Claire! Taking up the 30 in 30 Challenge and reviving my blog has been a game changer for me. As artists working in a solitary environment, it's difficult at times to evaluate our own work. Comments like yours have given me so much more confidence about what I do.

  6. This is a beautiful tree and setting, are you painting with pastels on location? I haven't tried that as landscapes haven't been my thing.
